Check In 2.0s and NC Instructional Frameworks

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction released the Grade 3-8 testing specifications for the Innovative Assessment Testing Authority (IADA), North Carolina Personalized Assessment Tool (NCPAT) or “Check-Ins 2.0.”

The NC Check-Ins are interim assessments developed “to provide students, teachers and parents with immediate in-depth action data and a reliable estimate of a students’ current performance in a selected subset of content standards.”

NC2ML has made recommendations for how NC Check-Ins can be used with Grades K-5 and Grades 6-8 Instructional Frameworks. Please refer to, Recommendations for Check-ins 2.0 Administration and Sequencing of Instruction Frameworks Clusters to see the recommendations by grade level.
